If you have stopped into Junction 14 Mayfield recently on the M7, you can’t miss the massive renovations being carried out. Piquing the interest of the public, the Fitzpatrick brothers Donal and Liam certainly have excitement brewing. With Junction 14 Mayfield marking its 8th year in business, customers are intrigued to see the upcoming improvements the Fitzpatrick’s have in store.
It has been all guns blazing as huge differences can already be seen. Local builders John and Paudraic Killeen have remodeled the car park. It’s to hold an impressive number of 258 customer car parking spaces, 51 truck spaces and 11 coach spaces.
A portion of the seating area (towards the end of the building) has been demolished to allow the expansion of Junction 14 Mayfield’s building. Rest assured, a substitute seating area has been put in place for customers. This additional area also has a section to allow kids to entertain themselves.
Upon completion, the bigger and better Junction 14 Mayfield will house 8 franchises to cater to their customers. Currently, the site holds a Spar shop, Fresh Food Department, Supermacs and Insomnia Coffee, Boston Donuts and supplies Texaco fuel. The new additions are being kept tightly under wraps, so we can look forward to an exciting reveal that we are sure is well worth the wait.
With work projected to be finished by early 2020 we are excited to see the finalised project. The revamp itself can be seen as a great uplift for commuters with the additional food offerings, seating areas and a kids area. Imagery can currently be seen around the site that teases customers to how the finished site will look. Sporting a much more modern and appealing aesthetic, Junction 14 Mayfield will definitely be standing out as the top spot to Relax.Refuel.Recharge. on the M7.
