Gender Pay Gap Report 2024
The Gender Pay Gap Information Act 2021 required organisations with over 250 employees to report on their hourly gender pay gap across a range of metrics.
From 2024, organisations with over 150 employees are asked to report on their Gender Pay Gap.
The gender pay gap is the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across a workforce. Organisations are asked to select a “snapshot date” during the month of June to base their reporting.
Junction 14 Mayfield became eligible in 2024 to file a gender pay gap report. 28 June 2023 was selected as the snapshot date with a total of 216 employees.
The 2022 mean in Ireland was 9.6%, ie the average man earned 9.6% more than the average woman. For full time staff in Junction 14, the mean is 3% whilst for parttime staff, the gap is 3% favour of woman workers.
If total workforce at Junction 14 were organised in order of hourly rate of pay and then split into four groups of equal size, or quartiles, this chart shows the proportions of men and women in each of the four groups. Our data shows a greater ratio of females to males in 3 out of 4 quartiles.
