Today marks a momentous occasion as we officially launch the inaugural exhibition showcasing the winning artworks of the Texaco Children’s Art Competition 2025, held here at Junction 14 Mayfield. This vibrant and inspiring installation celebrates the incredible talent of young artists from across the region, highlighting creativity, imagination, and the enduring legacy of community collaboration.

This milestone event is the result of a longstanding partnership between Lidon Group and Texaco, emphasizing their shared commitment to supporting youth, fostering artistic expression, and enriching the local community through innovative collaborations. The exhibition features a diverse array of artworks created by talented children, each piece reflecting their unique perspectives and artistic journeys.

The launch was attended by esteemed Directors from both Lidon Group and Texaco, who shared heartfelt words about the significance of this project and its positive impact on young minds. A special thanks was extended to all partners, educators, artists, and community members who contributed to bringing this inspiring exhibition to life.

The Texaco Children’s Art Competition Winners Exhibition is open to the public and will run until November 20th, offering visitors a wonderful opportunity to experience the creative visions of the region’s brightest young artists.

BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service is thrilled to announce the tremendous success of its recent fundraising event, “Brew for BUMBLEance” held at Junction 14 Mayfield. The event brought together coffee lovers, community members, and supporters to enjoy a day filled with great brews and greater purpose, all in support of our mission to provide critical care transport for seriously ill children across Ireland.

With participation from our site partners, attendees were treated to a variety of delicious brews, pastries, and some delightful surprises and €1 for every brew bought went straight to BUMBLEance. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, conversation, and a sense of community as participants and visitors came together to show their support.

“The turnout surpassed our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with the support we received from Junction 14 Mayfield,” said Brian Conlan, CEO of BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service. “Every cup of coffee served today contributed to ensuring that sick children receive the care and support they need. We are truly grateful to Junction 14 Mayfield for hosting us and to everyone who came out today.”

The “Brew for BUMBLEance ” event featured not only amazing coffee but also live entertainment, interactive activities for children, and informational booths about the critical services provided by BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service. Attendees were able to learn more about how the charity operates and the profound impact their support has on the lives of children and families affected by serious illness.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service, to aid in funding their specially designed ambulance service, which delivers essential medical transport for children, ensuring they reach critical care facilities safely and comfortably.
